I'm writing this through the haze of a hangover so awful that I am struggling to be even remotely witty. I went out with the housemates last night in Clapham. It was messy. We broke out our moves; these might have included the lawnmower, the running man and the mashed potato. Needless to say the single men of Clapham were very impressed with what they saw. Two of them tried to seduce me and my lovely housemate with the promise of a bacon sandwich. Whether or not we accepted that sandwich will be a mystery to you, dear readers.
Sadly next day recovery has been very stilted, but suitably bolstered by the ingestion of a greasy spoon breakfast, a roast and hair of the dog. I think I might be able to stumble through a blog post. You lucky, lucky people.
Here we go!

Style: Burda 9238
Era: 1980s?
Size: 2 - 10
Would I have bought it? yes - but only because I'm nearing 30 and I'm finally becoming broody. The shame! Sadly young children are always suspicious of me. None more so than the small child in the tube today that lost her parents on the escalator and had to hold my hand for the duration of the downward trip. I've never seen such fear in a small child, rigid she was with terror. I almost told her that I was a mirror into the future. She was right to be afraid.
First thoughts: Adorable. This is exactly how my parents dressed me in my yoof.

Would I have bought it? Aside from the aforementioned broodiness and despite the loveliness I have no real need of this.

First thoughts: Yesterday to while away the time in the cab we picked songs to make love to. I picked this, and one housemate picked Suddenly by Billy Ocean. If only we'd met men like those in the above illustration we might have had the opportunity to play these songs whilst making emotional passionate love. To the salient points, this is a serviceable jacket. I'll be making the hoodie.

First thoughts: I'd forgotten this, but there are a lot of children patterns in this lot. And another two in this post. I'm running out of things to say about children. I like this and I want to make this for my future children. In fact I might make all my children's clothes for as long as they live with me. This will be an endless source of amusement for me, and all at the relatively small cost of their social acceptance. I'm going to be one of those mums.
